ProtonIT is joining forces with alike aligned high-profile provider for project deliveries. No changes to the customers occurr, except for clear improvement on response and delivery times.

ProtonIT SolidConfig site was successfully migrated to Microsoft SharePoint; following the path of company's main site.
 
While the public download is not yet available, the product feature set has increased heavily in the recent development cycle and the documentation for entirely customizable workflows is soon to enter the site.

ProtonIT improved its infrastructure stability and performance by moving its servers to a datacenter close to the Finnish central "Ficix" connection point.
 
Dedicated bandwidth alongside with high-end server hardware provides close to LAN performance with fast broadband VPN.
 
For the customer extranet and on-premise web conferencing this also means great improvement in user experience.

Effective January 2009, ProtonIT made the final change to take the SharePoint for Internet Sites in internal use.
 
In addition to main site, the product site for SolidConfig is also being moved to the new content management platform.
